A few weeks ago I attended Way Up North in Rome. My aim was to connect with as many amazing photographers as possible. I must say it went quite well.
Way Up North is an event for wedding photographers and this was my second time attending. Last time, in Stockholm, was incredible thanks to the speakers and photographers. Even though I got many new friends from the Stockholm edition it was nothing compared to my experience in Rome. I guess one reason was the warm and open ambience that comes with the beautiful sunny weather in Italy.
The day after the event 12 of us got together for a workshop to handle the tough hangover from the fantastic closing party (by the I love The Flashdance I haven’t danced that much in ages) the night before. Seriously – one of the best decisions I’ve made lately! While taking portraits of each other we explored Rome and made sure to have many breaks refreshing with drinks and food. This workshop was my strongest and happiest memory of Way up North Rome. Thank you magic 12 for being awesome and I hope to see you again in Stockholm in October.
