Tervetuloa! / Welcome, to a part of me. The place where my mother grew up and also where we have our summer cottage.
Alanampa is a village and also a part of the polar circle city Rovaniemi in northern Finland. My family have spent many summers there.
But this autumn I decided to see the frozen version of it. And this time I went by myself. I brought warm clothes and my camera and returned with a lot of wonderful memories and the ability to !speak Finnish! Now I actually can talk with my huge family up there. It’s like I’ve found the greatest treasure of them all!
